ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK
This brand-new, rock-and-roll-infused project exudes precision, bespokeness, and exclusivity. When Laurent Picciotto, leading light of independent watchmaking in Paris, came up with the idea of us creating an exclusive model in partnership with watchmaking manufacture Hublot, we needed no further invitation.
The Hublot Classic Fusion Wild Customs is exclusively available at Hublot Paris St Honoré until end of July
BOUTIQUE HUBLOT PARIS St HONORE.

TWO BRANDS – ONE MAN
Being both passionate and impassioned, Picciotto’s role extends far beyond that of a mere intermediary. Thirty years ago, he created Chronopassion – a revolutionary concept at a time when local, family-owned watchmakers and jewellers shops were still the norm.
Twenty years later, he decided to get involved in the Wild Custom adventure, too, doubtless inspired by the similar ethos of the undertaking: a blend of people, passion, emotions worth passing on – and the conviction that there are still plenty of very beautiful things to be made.
WHEN FLAIR IS SO MUCH MORE THAN INSTINCT
Laurent Picciotto commits to many different guitar and watch-related projects, but they all have one thing in common: they’re one step ahead of their time. This characteristic flair is very much in evidence in Picciotto’s relationship with the Hublot watchmaking brand, too: ten years ago, he was the first to open a store wholly dedicated to the manufacture. Now, there are several dozen more, boosting the power of a brand that’s become a major player in both technical and aesthetic terms: disruptive, provocative, and innovative. Clearly, Laurent Picciotto’s upstart, pioneering genes are still alive and kicking today – and here at Wild Custom, we share much the same DNA.
LET THERE BE ROCK
Bringing together the three entities – Chronopassion, Hublot, and Wild Custom – was bound to create a sensation: three pieces tailored by the same man to fit perfectly together, creating a new image of watchmaking, rock-style. The timing’s pretty good, too: in 2019, within the space of a few months, Picciotto is celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of Chronopassion, the tenth anniversary of the opening of his Hublot store, the first ever, and the tenth anniversary of Wild Custom.
The resulting “Wild Custom” Hublot Classic Fusion is a watch that’s raw, tattooed, and engraved – just the way we like them. Each and every detail exudes the Wild spirit, turbocharged with Laurent Picciotto’s watchmaking knowhow: darkened bronze, aged titanium, a strap designed to resemble that of a guitar, and a whiff of rebellion embodied by the engraved skulls on its 45-millimetre case.
The only downside is that with just two limited editions of 100 each, there won’t be enough of them to go round.
